Overview Exciting Tax Director Position. Our client, a CPA firm, is searching for a Senior Tax Accounting Director to manage all operations. This position will assist the partners with running engagements, mentoring/training staff, and reviewing work for accuracy. This job position is hybrid in nature with 1-2 days a week in the office with remainder remote. Local candidates only should apply. Responsibilities Preview and review Federal, State, and Local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and closely held companies. Help schedule and spearhead the engagements with the team. Previous and substantial experience with 1040, 1065, 1120, 1041 returns. Ability to monitor workflows and resolve day-to-day inquiries and issues. Detail-oriented and deadline oriented. Assist with overseeing bookkeeping for closely held and small companies. 4 year degree in Accounting, preferably with a CPA and/or EA. Experience with QuickBooks and UltraTax software. 10+ years of management experience working for a small or mid-sized CPA firm.
