Job Title: Director of Social Media / Communication Leader II

Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite/week)

Duration: 13-month contract (through Sept 2026)

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM | 37.5 hrs/week

About the Role

We’re seeking a strategic and experienced Communications Leader to oversee and govern social media activities across a global organization. This role plays a key part in ensuring that social media operations align with internal policies and external regulatory standards. You'll be driving governance, risk mitigation, and inventory management while working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

What You’ll Do

• Lead governance and oversight of social media platforms across the organization
• Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to ensure policy compliance
• Manage and maintain a comprehensive inventory of corporate social accounts
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure global alignment
• Act as a business manager to evaluate and approve content
• Ensure consistent, compliant, and effective social media usage

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in social media management, risk mitigation, and governance
• Strong business management and auditing skills
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Nice to Have:

Experience with tools like Smartsheet or Hootsuite
