Job Title: Finance Director The Opportunity: Join our leadership team as Finance Director, where you’ll drive EHG’s growth and operational excellence! Be the key partner for our founders and management, supporting smart decision-making and long-term success. Bring your strategic insights, analytical skills, and proactive spirit to shape our future at every level—from daily operations to major business initiatives. How You’ll Make an Impact: Be a Strategic Financial Partner: Lead quarterly financial and business performance reviews with EHG’s Partners, translating numbers into actionable growth strategies. Manage cash flow modeling, proactive forecasting, and precise budgeting to keep the company agile and ahead of the market. Champion Executive Advisory & Long-Term Vision: Guide Partners in aligning business achievements with personal and financial goals. Develop exit strategies, navigate market shifts, and identify risks and opportunities to ensure long-term success. Integrate software commercialization objectives into our financial planning, ensuring strategies are performance-driven. Financial Leadership and Operations: Oversee all aspects of Accounting and Finance, enhancing internal controls, optimizing cash flow, and managing expenditures including payroll and capital expenses. Develop and maintain a forward-looking 12-month budget and quarterly forecasts, providing key insights and performance metrics. Lead revenue monitoring and reporting, equipping leaders with dashboards and KPIs for impactful decisions. Manage pass-through costs for production and media, adding value to transactions. Ensure data integrity across systems, producing reports that highlight profit levers and improve cash flow. Lead strategic projects in capacity planning, contract evaluation, business expansion, and capital allocation, contributing financial expertise at each step. Support client engagements through monthly finance meetings, contract reviews, and billing and working capital management. Drive Client Profitability & Financial Health: Ensure accurate billing and diligent management of working capital, including receivables and work-in-progress. Assess and mitigate client credit risks proactively. Analyze and enhance client profitability, offering strategic recommendations based on revenue and margin data. What’s in it for You? Experience required: 8+ years in advertising client finance, with extensive knowledge of client operations and compensation models, including project-based, retainer, and time-and-material engagements Preferred BA in Finance or Accounting, and/or MBA (not mandatory) High accuracy, diligence, and attention to detail Solid understanding of accrual accounting, revenue recognition, and GAAP rules Proven leadership in managing project, departmental, and enterprise risks related to finance systems and analysis Excellent communication skills, proactive attitude, and energetic approach for a dynamic environment Strong time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting Exceptional interpersonal skills, proactive, and capable of driving change Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Word and PowerPoint
