Essential Functions Develop and execute EY's robotics strategy, focusing on humanoid robots and physical AI applications. Engage with customers to understand their needs and identify robotics solutions. Oversee a small team of robotics professionals, providing guidance and mentorship. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate robotics solutions. Monitor industry trends to inform strategic decisions and innovation. Represent EY at industry conferences to promote the robotics program and establish thought leadership. Responsibilities in Decision Making The leader will address challenges such as shifting perceptions of EY's involvement in robotics, internal resistance, and maintaining relationships with existing clients in the robotics industry. Key decisions include identifying strategic engagement opportunities, crafting narratives to elevate EY’s profile, and aligning initiatives with client needs and business objectives. Knowledge and Skills Strong understanding of robotics, especially humanoid robots and physical AI. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven leadership and team management abilities. Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with project management methodologies. Background in engineering, computer science, or related fields is advantageous. Supervision The leader operates independently, reporting to senior management, supervising a small team, and providing performance feedback. Other Requirements Frequent travel for client meetings and industry events. Flexibility in work hours for global client needs. Ability to work in a dynamic environment with evolving technologies. Job Requirements Education: Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, robotics, or related field; PhD preferred. Experience: At least 15 years of senior leadership experience in robotics or related sectors, with a proven track record in client engagement, strategic partnerships, and managing cross-functional teams. Certifications: Relevant certifications in robotics, project management, or innovation management are beneficial but not mandatory. Compensation and Benefits US salary ranges from $203,600 to $403,100, with higher ranges for certain regions.
