Labor and Employment Associate Responsibilities: Represent employers in federal and state court litigation, administrative proceedings, and arbitration. Advise clients on employment law compliance, workplace policies, and risk management strategies. Handle matters involving discrimination, harassment, wage and hour issues, employee discipline, and termination. Draft and negotiate employment agreements, separation agreements, and restrictive covenants. Represent organizations in labor disputes, grievance procedures, arbitration hearings, and administrative proceedings. Represent clients in labor disputes, including arbitration, mediation, and proceedings before the NLRB and other administrative bodies. Labor and Employment Associate Qualifications: J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in the jurisdiction of practice. 3+ years of experience in labor and employment law, preferably at a large law firm or boutique employment practice. Strong litigation and counseling skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage cases and client relationships independently. Extensive knowledge and understanding of labor law. Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills. Commitment to client service and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
