What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Manage multiple proposals concurrently, ensuring compliance with sponsor and institutional guidelines
Oversee financial control of assigned departments and review funding expenditures
Prepare forecast reports for Principal Investigators (PIs) and senior research leaders
Collaborate with the Research Finance Coordinator to process contracts, orders, and payments
Provide training, coaching, and performance assessments to finance team members
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor\'s Degree in Finance or Business Administration required; Master\'s Degree in Business Administration preferred
2-3 years of grant management or finance experience required
3-5 years of grant administration or finance experience required
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications, especially Excel, Teams, and Word
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a high degree of initiative
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
A good working knowledge of research agency funding guidelines and policies
Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to balance multiple competing priorities
Experience working with large amounts of financial data accurately
Ability to independently identify and solve problems
