Description Alvarez & Marsal Private Equity Performance Improvement Director, CFO Services - Digital Finance OVERVIEW: A&M's Private Equity Performance Improvement Services (PEPI) practice collaborates with private equity portfolio companies to provide solutions that preserve and generate value. Our goal is to enhance transparency, support increased cash flow and EBITDA, and involve ourselves actively in client operations to ensure credible plans and successful execution of financial outcomes. Our PEPI CFO Services practice includes: Liquidity & Working Capital Optimization Strategic Analytics & Planning Performance Measurement & Management Business Transformation Auxiliary Services: Accounting Remediation Role: PEPI CFO Services Director, Digital Finance PROFESSIONAL EXPECTATIONS: Expertise in Digital Finance Transformation with proven implementation experience Track record in assessing finance and accounting functions, implementing digital technologies such as RPA, Finance Analytics, NLG, and Predictive Forecasting models to improve efficiency and transparency Experience in finance & accounting process improvement and automation Knowledge of digital finance tools and vendors Experience implementing digital tools in large public companies or medium-sized PE-owned portfolio companies Ability to develop predictive forecasting models Scope Development & Project Management: Engage with clients to gather information and facilitate interviews Define analyses needed to validate assumptions and ensure accurate, timely execution Identify business drivers and issues using industry knowledge Develop project frameworks and actionable conclusions Lead project components and smaller projects independently Manage client expectations and develop contingency plans Design initiatives to improve cash flow, EBITDA, and organizational structure Work collaboratively with senior management and obtain buy-in Leadership & Financial Acumen: Leverage industry expertise and promote innovative thinking Manage client relationships and team issues Build teams based on individual talents Proficiency in financial modeling, statement analysis, and accounting treatments Drive P&L and B/S accountability Utilize tools for change management and streamline processes Qualifications: Degree in relevant fields preferred but not required Experience with Digital Finance technologies including RPA, Predictive Forecasting, Analytics, NLG, and data visualization Over 12 years in finance, accounting, due diligence, restructuring, investment banking, or private equity Proficiency in financial models, data analytics, and presentation skills CPA, CFA, MBA, or Master’s degree preferred but not required
