As the technical leader of the CRM platform team, the Salesforce Principal Solution Architect, drives the vision to create an industry leading, student and customer-centric technology experience. The team is looking for a forward thinking, action-oriented individual to help drive the implementation and development of innovative, cutting-edge solutions.
This position supports discovery, design and implementation of a global higher education institution’s CRM/Salesforce roadmap. This role has a key responsibility to ensure that the ideal customer experience is delivered to the customers. He/she/they must be a highly motivated, quality driven engineering architect for the team. This individual will consistently deliver solutions meeting the highest standards. While strategic thinking and coordination are important elements of this role, this individual will be required to take a very hands-on role with requirements, design, and assisting with improving our overall delivery framework and driving innovation and change.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and expertise on Salesforce and other applications within the CRM ecosystem, assisting with architecting the vision of our Core CRM systems portfolio and roadmap to drive innovation, transformation and the modernization of our customer’s processes and tools
Partner closely with cross-functional platform teams, including SIS, Learner Experience, aPMO, etc. to ensure optimal solutions and seamless integrations to support our ability to rapidly scale, improve operational efficiency and maximize our customer’s strategic priorities
Decipher business needs, assessing current state against modernized future state, to transform processes into more innovative solutions that will drive change and value
Devise, revise and maintain both declarative (flows, validation rules, approvals, etc.) and programmatic functionality
Scope level of effort and potential options for delivery of technology transformation efforts
Ensure Salesforce security and scalability, in both set up and creating a risk-aware culture on the team
Establish strategic partnership with the operations team and Executive leadership to assess and design process improvement recommendations
Provide hands-on design leadership in large or complex development projects involving application development, migrations, integrations, enhancements to existing applications
Analyze cross-functional business processes, identify alternative solutions, assess feasibility, and recommend new approaches via Salesforce enablement
Ensure the Salesforce.com technical design aligns to overall enterprise architecture and scales well
Evaluate possible application performance bottle necks at early stages of the implementation & recommend remedial measures
Provide guidance and technical leadership and mentoring to a team of Salesforce administrators and developers to follow best practices and coding standards
Education & Experience Requirements :
Experience:
10+ years of hands-on experience in developing solutions using Salesforce platform
Experience with Salesforce products: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, EDA, Admissions Connect, Student Success Hub, Education Cloud
Keen understanding of Salesforce product roadmap and other integrative tools within the ecosystem
In-depth understanding of different of processes/ constituents and best practices of project management in order to provide proactive solution for complex situations and execute multiple complex/ critical projects
Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale system implementations and driving technology transformation initiatives
Excellent leadership, communication and management skills
Demonstrable understanding of technology architecture, API’s, complex data structures and integration standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Proven track record of demonstrating strong leadership abilities, managing a team of admins and developers, motivating and coaching team towards common goals and supporting career growth

Salesforce Advanced Administrator (Must Have)
Salesforce App Builder (Must Have)
Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant (Must Have)

Hiring Range:
$190,000.00 - $200,000.00
