EY’s SAP service line capabilities (Supply Chain, FICO, BPC, Data & Analytics, Customer, Tech/Arch and SuccessFactors) focus on helping clients improve performance and productivity. As a Senior Manager in our Technology practice, you will interact with business stakeholders to evaluate and analyze business models, processes, and operations, translate requirements into technical specifications, and work with technical teams to design and deliver effective system architecture solutions.ResponsibilitiesLeading engagement delivery and managing client relationships on a daily basis.Overseeing program/project management and ensuring engagement economics are met.Developing resource plans and budgets for complex engagements.Leading large-scale SAP client engagements or work streams, ensuring alignment with client objectives.Demonstrating in-depth technical capabilities and strong business acumen; staying abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client’s business.Consistently delivering high-quality client services by monitoring progress, managing risks, and keeping key stakeholders informed of developments and outcomes.Building and maintaining relationships with client personnel at all levels to foster collaboration and trust.Effectively leading and motivating diverse teams, providing feedback and coaching; fostering an innovative, inclusive, and team-oriented environment while mentoring junior consultants.Identifying and generating new business opportunities by understanding EY’s service lines and proactively addressing client needs.Skills And Attributes For SuccessUnderstand stakeholder needs and advise on SAP system capabilities; lead requirement gathering, architect solutions, blueprinting, testing, and documentation.Translate needs into business solutions and complete configurations and integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems.Blend technical and interpersonal skills to build relationships and deliver results.Strong technical skills in application functional design and technology requirements definition; cost-benefit analysis; system configuration and business architecture frameworks; excellent communication.QualificationsA Bachelor’s degree; a Master’s degree is preferred.Typically, 5 - 7 years of relevant experience.At least five (5) years of experience in SAP Production Planning (PP) within a functional consulting or system configuration role.Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills.Proven experience managing SAP projects or work streams, including oversight of project-based team members.Knowledge of best practices in supply chain, benchmarking and advisory experience related to supply chain-specific technology functions.Ability and willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel is estimated at 40-60%.Experience in conducting technology cost-benefit analyses and familiarity with technology business architecture frameworks.Skills in training design and delivery.Ideally, you’ll also havePrior consulting industry experience.SAP certification(s).Experience as a workstream/team lead for manufacturing with SAP.Experience with at least two full lifecycle implementations of SAP ERP (ECC and/or S/4HANA) specifically with SAP Production Planning (PP).Experience with at least one full lifecycle implementation with SAP Material Requirement Planning (MRP).Experience integrating SAP PP with MES and SAP Quality Management (QM).Hands-on SAP PP configuration experience; experience designing custom RICEF solutions and writing functional specifications.Experience writing and executing test scripts; experience creating training materials for end users.Knowledge of integration between SAP PP and FICO, EWM, PPDS, PLM, MDM, and Materials Management modules.Knowledge of manufacturing operations and Life Cycle Management, including BOMs and Make to Stock / Make-to-Order models.What We Look ForWe seek individuals who are skilled in their technical domain and possess leadership, collaboration, and innovation. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $171,600 to $392,100; NYC Metro/Washington State/California ranges are $205,900 to $445,700. Salaries are determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
