City Rise Safety - Senior Traffic Engineer Open to all applicants based in California We are a well-established and growing company offering a competitive salary and great benefits package for the right candidate. We provide high quality traffic control safety services to construction job sites, such as Flagging traffic through a work site, setting up and monitoring Lane Closures to divert traffic, or Detouring traffic to reduce traffic congestion and prevent accidents. Position Summary We seek a highly-motivated, experienced Senior Traffic Engineer to join our engineering team. This position requires possession of a valid license as a Professional Civil Engineer or Professional Traffic Engineer issued by the State of California. Candidate must be able to review and approve Traffic Control Plans (TCPs) for safety and regulatory compliance with little to no supervision.

Responsibilities Review and approve Traffic Control Plans for safety and regulatory compliance. Lead challenging design projects and provide direction to the engineering team. Serve as the subject matter expert for work zone traffic control projects. Assist with coaching and training to the engineering team Coordinate with Project Managers and/or Engineering Manager dealing with work distribution Prepare plan revisions based on customer and/or public agency feedback Provide complex temporary traffic control layouts including multi-phase and multi-jurisdictional plans Assist with complex base plans and/or complex temporary traffic control layouts Provide design assistance for plans prepared by other team members Provide feedback on plan reviews for management documentation Meet or exceed project deadlines. Other duties as assigned

What you need to be amazing at City Rise Minimum Qualifications 2+ years experience preparing TCPs in California Possession of a valid license as a Professional Civil Engineer or Professional Traffic Engineer issued by the State of California Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors. Desired Qualifications B.S. Civil Engineering from accredited university 5+ years experience preparing TCPs in California
