You have a strong inclination to work in rapidly developing and expanding organizations and possess the necessary background to do so. You are well-acquainted with the fast-paced, high-volume, and uncertain nature of operations in the organization, and perceive it as a chance to deliver significant outcomes. What You'll Do: Work closely across engineering and product to enable the team to deliver high-impact functionality and hit dates committed to on the roadmap Coach and work closely with engineers to empower them to be the best versions of themselves. You will need to find the right balance between creating the space for them to do their best work and coaching and developing new skills Set clear goals, provide feedback, and conduct performance reviews effectively Identify, attract, and hire top engineering talent and onboard new engineers Improve our delivery processes to increase the accuracy of estimation, reliability of delivery, and velocity of execution Create a culture of excellence, foster innovation, and ensure team members have the resources and support to succeed Help manage and create vendor relationships that enable the engineering team to deliver quality software quickly Build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders across different departments, effectively communicating progress and addressing concerns Learn and apply knowledge about the drug discount space, and become a subject matter expert for internal teams to draw upon What You'll Bring: Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar field 10+ years experience as a Software Engineer in a professional full-time role 7+ years experience leading an engineering team Experience leading recruiting initiatives, as well as growing and organizing engineering teams.
