Our client is seeking an experienced Tax Manager or Senior Manager to join their growing accounting and consulting team. This is a new role as part of advance planning for partner retirement. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of tax operations, including the review and preparation of tax returns, providing strategic advice on complex tax issues, and managing a team of skilled tax professionals. The office operates Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and staff enjoy the flexibility of working remotely on Fridays. Responsibilities will include: Review and prepare tax returns and provide guidance and technical advice on complex tax issues to high-net-worth individuals, families, and their businesses to help maximize tax efficiency. Stay current on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and identify tax planning opportunities. Lead and manage a team of staff tax professionals, delegating tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring high quality of work. Conduct business development activities to attract new clients. Support special projects, including tax research and analysis.
