What Work You Will Be Responsible For: Managing and coordinating tax compliance and advisory work for clients.
Reviewing Federal, Multi-National, Multi-State Partnership tax returns.
Leading client relationships on day-to-day tax matters, supporting partners with service execution and development of extended services.
Researching and consulting on technical matters and special projects.
Proactively building relationships and communicating effectively with clients to provide superior client service.
Participating in business development efforts, including working collaboratively with partners and marketing professionals to target and build relationships with prospective clients.
Managing, training, and developing staff. Participating in the performance review process.
Handling partnership tax responsibilities.
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent field.
8+ years of progressive financial service tax experience.
CPA certification.
1+ years of supervisory experience.
Experience working with asset manager clients (private equity, hedge funds, fund of funds, and/or venture capital) firms is required.
Preferred/Desired Qualifications: Master's Degree in Taxation or relevant field.
Experience using GoSystems or CCH Axcess tax software.

For other locations, the range may vary based on market differences. Actual compensation will depend on experience and other factors permitted by law. Preferred Location: New York For NYC and California, the expected salary range is between $120,000 and $200,000 . The range in other regions may differ based on market conditions. Compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors.
