CohnReznick is a hybrid firm and most professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered hybrid which means team members are expected to be thoughtful and intentional in how they create opportunities for in-person collaboration. While the cadence of in-office presence is determined at the team level, our professionals are encouraged to be in the office/together in person on average 3 days a week. YOUR TEAM. This position will support our Real Estate Group . You will work on a team with other Associates, Senior Associates, Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners who focus on delivering value to clients. YOUR ROLE. Responsibilities and qualifications described below reflect the expectations for this role. Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To Serve as the Engagement Manager on specific client accounts, handling pre-engagement planning, execution, final deliverable development, and billing/collections. Develop a detailed engagement work plan with budgets and schedules; monitor status and communicate adjustments to CohnReznick management. Develop a professional relationship with the client and demonstrate high-quality service, integrity, and client satisfaction. Serve as the prime client contact and ensure the client is informed of engagement progress and logistics. Maintain respect and confidence of the CohnReznick team through effective client management, timely communication, and clear direction. Prepare timely and accurate bills for professional services rendered. Your Experience The successful candidate will have: Education: BS/BA in accounting; CPA required Minimum 8+ years tax & accounting experience in public accounting Excellent analytical, technical, and tax skills including knowledge of IRC code and regulations Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with excellent written, interpersonal, and presentation skills Computer proficiency including knowledge of audit-preparation software, understanding of technology impact Strong research skills Proven technical skills with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with audit software, ProSystems or GoSystems, and CCH Engagement is a plus Solid organizational skills with the ability to multi-task In addition, please review our Universal Job Standards.
